Meet the new Chair of the HLA Board

We’re delighted to announce that Rosie Cooper takes over as Chair of Home Live Art’s board, following on from Martin Gent.

Rosie was appointed the Director of Wysing Arts Centre in September 2021. Prior to this she worked as Head of Exhibitions at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill from 2016, where she developed a distinctive new curatorial vision for the institution that combined local operations with global context, making use of DLWP’s history and location to consider the role of cultural institutions in civic life.

She was previously Head of Programmes at Liverpool Biennial. In 2016, where she led the team to present new commissions by 44 artists across 21 sites.

“I’m thrilled to be working to support Katy Baird in the role of Chair. Katy is an inspiring Director and artist, whose ambitious vision for Home Live Art is generous and inclusive. Katy’s leadership reveals the huge impact that artist led activity can make in communities, and in the sector at large; I am very much looking forward to our work together.”
